On 3 consecutive days I saw a turtle....

...each time in the middle of the small walking path in our wood

Now look who's here under the leafs...

Sometimes they make a huge noise... We don't know where they actually live, as there is no creek just beside the house.

So one morning, Bambi came for a visit. Unfortunately, her mom is very paranoid, so I was only able to make a pic from a huge distance.

Perfect mimicking for tree branches

Don't know what insects those are, but Christian absolutely wanted to preserve their nest and see the young ones growing. They don't hurt...

This picture demonstrates two fireflies (Gluehwuermchen). We had many of them, quiet a space!

Another caterpillar, a bit bigger. He lives in the soil, only appearing after gardening

Bug exploring the table. He's too big to get into the notebook (not like the ants), so no danger :-)

The Green Frog- still lives on our patio (update: not anymore, he's disappeard)

Much too fast to make a picture on our own. There are millions around and they visit us on our patio.

The Monster called Pumpkin- scratches and bites, but more intelligent than the black one- he finally learned that he is not allowed to enter (so he scratches the window like here)
