A twisting road leads from the San Diego area eastwards towards the deserts. First you pass orange and avocado plantations, then the color starts to change to brownish

And then you enter the desert..... Yes, we saw this round, dry bushes pushed by the wind as seen in many Western movies!

Evening starts, but it's still very hot

We stayed in a very little town in the middle of the desert and enjoyed the atmosphere

Of course, everything is more relaxed here

The landscape is really awesome, we couldn't get enough of it.

But to be honest, we could only spent little time outside the car. Nobody goes to the desert in July, except foreigners.
