Our short visit to the Western part of this pretty large country
Due to immense costs for administrative reasons, we only stayed in China for 4 days. The problem is that with a car, you need a guide (who had his own car and driver), Chinese number plates, Chinese car papers and I even got a temporary Chinese driver's license. This was $2500 for four persons and four days...
I think next time I have to do it differently and spend a month there. It has so much potential, and we didn't even scratch beautiful Tibet.
